Introducing the brand behind the excellent dairy-free Burella (vegan burrata) Julienne Bruno: Winner of the Dairy Free Cheese & Spread category in the 2022 Quality Food Awards...

The team behind Julienne Bruno comprises of a number of international chefs based in London and their signature product Burella wowed our panel of judges at last year's Quality Food Awards!

Julienne Bruno's plant-based Burella is a vegan alternative to burrata with a flavour and consistency that could fool most people into believing that it contains mozarella and cream.

Founder Axel Katalan's vision was to create vegan products which become people's first choice, as opposed to an alternative, and our judges believe that the Julienne Bruno team achieved exactly this.

Described by our judges as, "really soft to eat", "really clever technically" with a, "good natural ingredients list". 

Since winning their Quality Food Award last year, the Julienne Bruno brand has gone from strength to strength. When we met the team at IFE (International Food Event) at Excel London last month, we were delighted to hear that their Burella is now available to purchase from Ocado

A number of large retailers are now asking what UK food awards your product has won, as part of the application process, so winning a QFA could really help to secure a listing with the likes of Ocado.
