Shobhna’s Ayurveda – Rooted in Tradition, Crafted for Today.
I founded Shobhna’s Ayurveda in Essex with a simple belief — that purity and balance begin with what we eat. For me, Ayurveda isn’t just ancient wisdom; it’s a way of life that connects nourishment, care, and well-being. Through my brand, I wanted to bring that timeless goodness into modern kitchens, blending authenticity, quality, and convenience in every jar.
At the heart of my range is Shobhna’s Organic Desi Ghee, a rich, golden clarified butter made from 100% organic, grass-fed British butter. It’s produced in small batches using traditional slow-cooking methods to bring out its nutty aroma, clean flavour, and smooth texture. Ghee has always been at the centre of Indian cooking — used in everything from comforting curries to festive sweets — and today, it’s recognised as a healthy fat choice, rich in essential fatty acids and a natural alternative to refined oils or processed spreads. Whether used in traditional dishes or for frying, baking, roasting, or simply spreading on toast, it adds both flavour and nourishment.
My inspiration comes from my upbringing around Ayurveda, where ghee wasn’t just an ingredient but a symbol of warmth, nourishment, and well-being. The recipe I use today was passed down from my mother — a family tradition lovingly refined and preserved over generations. What began in my own kitchen has grown into a purpose-driven brand that celebrates honest food made with care and intention.
For me, Shobhna’s Ayurveda is more than a brand — it’s a reflection of my roots and values. Through Shobhna’s Organic Desi Ghee, I hope to share a taste of that heritage and the simple joy of food rooted in tradition, crafted for today.
