Welcome to the 2021 Quality Food Awards

Entry deadline extended to Friday 2 July!

We understand how busy you are, so we have decided to extend the 2021 entry deadline to Friday 2 July. We hope that by giving you a few more weeks, this will give you ample time to complete your entries. So, if you haven’t started your entry yet, don’t worry as you still have time!

Entering is a really simple and quick process. With a wide range of categories for all, putting your product in front of our panel of experts is a great way to receive impartial feedback and winning a Quality Food Award is proven to have measurable impact not only raising the profile of entrants but also on the sales of products. Winning an award is great for visibility, and a great boost for your whole company and everyone who works so hard to prepare your fantastic products.

Our logo on pack resonates with consumers and reassures them that the products they are purchasing are of award-winning quality. After all, what says quality better than a Quality Food Award mark of excellence!

A Note from our Chair of Judges, Simon Wright

Last year’s Quality Food Awards was the first to be run under Pandemic restrictions and we were amazed and delighted by the results. The quality and quantity of entries was high. The coverage given to winning products in print, online and on TV was extensive. Our ability to run safe physical judging sessions meant that every product was judged with the same degree of rigour for which the Quality Food Awards are rightly renowned. Although we find ourselves working under similar conditions this year, we now know that the current restrictions will not disrupt this year's Quality Food Awards.

In 2020 we were impressed at how food and drink companies switched to running their NPD projects online, so that the pipeline of new products remained full. We believe that the industry will continue to innovate and bring new products to market so that when consumer confidence returns there will be no shortage of new products to try. At the Quality Food Awards we look forward to shining the light on the best products available in the market, and on the people, who have produced them.

Best of luck with your entries.
Simon Wright
